Reporting a New Renaissance Member

The Renaissance of Brotherhood Program provides for men who live up to the ideals of Sigma Phi Epsilon to be part of the Fraternity even though they may not have had the opportunity during their college years. Any chapter can participate in the Renaissance of Brotherhood Program any time during the academic year. Renaissance brothers will be defined as those who are over 25 years of age or deceased, who have received an undergraduate degree or currently are not enrolled as undergraduate students at a college or university, who are not members of another national fraternity, and who express values and ideals consistent with the Cardinal Principles of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love.

To report a new Renaissance brother, the chapter president should follow these steps:

1. Login to mySigEp and select your chapter from the group selector in the top right corner
2. Click the “Forms” icon and select the “Renaissance of Brotherhood Membership Form”
3. Complete the form with the required information and press submit. Upon submission, notify the chapter counselor that he/she should have just received an email from Headquarters and must approve the request to be finalized
4. After the chapter counselor has approved the request via the email form sent to them, a $25 fee will be automatically posted to the chapter’s account. The chapter must pay this through mySigEp. If the AVC wishes to sponsor this $25 fee, they may do so by sending in a physical check to Headquarters at 310 S. Arthur Ashe Blvd., Richmond, VA 23220.
