College Men Need SigEp Now More Than Ever
For 125 years, SigEp has defined what it means to be a different fraternity – Keeping the Promise our founders made in 1901. Our legacy isn’t an accident; it is built, sustained, and driven by a loyal group of brothers, friends, and parents: our Annual Fund donors.
Today, that promise lives on in 12,500 undergraduate brothers. When you give to the Annual Fund, you provide the relationships and experiences that help young men discover their purpose, strengthen their chapters, and prepare for life after college.
Your Founders Day gift powers SigEp’s solutions:
- Direction & Self-Awareness: Helping brothers discover who they are and the leaders they want to become through experiences like the Ruck Leadership Institute, Tragos Quest to Greece, Carlson Leadership Academy, and Grand Chapter Conclave.
- Brotherhood and Social Connection: Strengthening lifelong relationships and communication skills through the Balanced Man Program.
- Career Readiness & Success: Preparing brothers to confidently take their next step through Life After College, Career Coaching, and the Balanced Man Program.
- Mentorship for Life: Connecting undergraduates with alumni who provide meaningful mentorship, coaching, and guidance.
Beyond funding programs, your gift sends an unmistakable message to every undergraduate brother: You matter. We believe in you. And the SigEp brotherhood stands behind you.
Join us in Keeping the Promise by making your Annual Fund gift today.

Overall Challenges
Integral to the success of Founders Day of Giving is the friendly competition between two important groups in SigEp — the NUTS! McAuliffe Society (local volunteers) and the Freeark Society (past staff). Last year, these groups raised over $600,000 – driving 40% of our entire goal.
As the NUTS! Society gears up for its 30th Anniversary at the 2027 Grand Conclave; their joining fees and annual dues directly enable undergraduate brothers to receive scholarships to attend Grand Conclave and the Ruck Leadership Institute.
Tragos Quest to Greece is SigEp’s transformative, study-abroad experience where Scholars examine Greek culture, philosophy, and the origins of the Balanced Man ideal.
For 27 years, the Ruck Leadership Institute has lived by its mantra: "Teach the few to impact the many." Using The Leadership Challenge and its Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership, co-authored by Brother Barry Posner, California-Santa Barbara '70, Ruck scholars gain the tools and confidence to drive lasting chapter impact.
Get ready to multiply your impact. Our site-wide National Challenges give every donor—regardless of chapter—the chance to unlock matching gifts and reach campaign milestones together.
Official targets and challenge details are launching soon! Stay tuned, get ready to rally the brotherhood, and help us reach these national goals together.
Celebrating 125 years of SigEp, we honor the donor community powering our 2026 Founders Day of Giving – our most generous donors, the Chapter Captains engaging alumni across the world, call centers bringing the campaign to life, and the Board of Governors leading the charge for the Annual Fund.
It’s also home to The 125 Club: an elite group of brothers who have reached – and exceeded – $125,000 in lifetime giving, aligning their personal legacies with Fraternity history during our anniversary year.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is Founders Day of Giving?
Our campaign kicks off at 12:00 a.m. ET on Nov. 1 and runs through 11:59 p.m. ET on Nov. 2. Together, we honor the day in 1901 when our 12 founders established Sigma Phi Epsilon in Richmond, Virginia.
Why $2.5 Million, and why now?
Your gift to the Annual Fund directly powers the undergraduate experience for 12,500 undergraduate brothers across nearly 200 chapters. It funds values-based leadership development, including the Balanced Man Program, Carlson Leadership Academy, Ruck Leadership Institute, and Life After College. By funding national programs, you deliver local impact – strengthening chapter infrastructure and ensuring cost is never a barrier to a life-changing fraternity experience.
Can I set up a Challenge Gift to motivate my chapter?
Challenge Gifts start at $2,500 and are the single most effective way to multiply your impact. Once fellow brothers hit your goal, your match unlocks. Deadline: Challenge Gifts must be finalized by Oct. 15. Contact Braden Botkin for step-by-step setup: braden.botkin@sigep.net / 804-441-2897.
Does my recurring gift count towards the Chapter Challenge?
Recurring gifts — both new and existing — count directly toward your chapter’s total, giving them a powerful boost toward the top of the leaderboard.
