The following instructions are for transferring gifted shares of individual securities or mutual funds to the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation. While transfers of individual securities are much faster and less complex than transfers of mutual fund shares, we appreciate ALL generous contributions to the Foundation.
To make a transfer gift of individual stock, have your broker follow these instructions:
State Street Bank
DTC: # 987
For Further Credit to: BJ60 (Deutsche Bank Trust Co Americas)
For Account # 654406 (Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation SD)
** Please notify the Educational Foundation by letter and/or email regarding the name of the donor, the specific gift (date and shares gifted), and the intended fund (i.e., General Fund or _____ Chapter Scholarship Fund, etc.)

Mutual fund shares
To make a transfer gift of mutual fund shares, please contact the Educational Foundation by email/letter or phone with the following information:
- Donor name.
- Number of shares, ticker, and name of mutual fund to be transferred.
- Contact information at current broker (individual name, firm name, phone &/or email).
**Please note that that transfer of mutual funds is a much more involved process than gifting individual stocks, including several additional administrative steps, and can take significantly longer (several weeks) to complete. We appreciate your patience and ask that you plan accordingly regarding year-end gifts of mutual fund shares. We recommend that you begin the transfer before Thanksgiving if the year of the contribution is important.
If there are any problems with a transfer, please contact Pat Torrey or Mark Bagley at Hirtle Callaghan & Co (610) 828-7200. The Hirtle Callaghan team serves as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for the Educational Foundation.
