Whether you’ve just been elected to a chapter position or are a longtime volunteer, you’ll find programming that’s exciting and beneficial at this year’s Carlson Leadership Academies.
Executive board officers
Have you just been elected to a new exec position? Are you looking for training to maximize your time in office and learn from fellow brothers? Carlson is an opportunity to learn from alumni and volunteers with years of SigEp involvement and senior leadership experience. You’ll walk away with increased knowledge and the confidence to be successful in your new role. Five officers from each chapter have their registration fee waived and the sixth and seventh are discounted at a rate of $95/man.
Up-and-coming leaders
Carlson isn’t just for newly elected officers. There are also three tracks are available for up-and-coming leaders:
- Balanced Man Program: This track is geared toward challenge coordinators and brothers passionate about development. In this track, you will learn how to better articulate the BMP, how to schedule and execute a full BMP challenge, and how to further integrate the BMP App into your chapter.
- Recruitment skills: Make a great first impression, practice your SigEp pitch and learn how to close the deal. This recruitment track will teach you the necessary skills to grow your chapter in size and quality, as well as how to implement SigEp’s most effective recruitment tool, the Balanced Man Scholarship.
- Rising leaders: Want to serve in a leadership role in the future? Hone your skills in this track dedicated to our future leaders. You will delve into your personal leadership strengths and opportunities, work through project planning and management, discuss the art of collaboration and delegation, and leave with a personal plan for your path to leadership.
