  • Once inside the portal, you will be able to view details of the sessions being live-streamed and to watch the events.
  • On your desktop, be sure to bookmark the link for quick and easy access throughout Conclave.

Before the first virtual session of each day, you will receive a push notification reminder in the app for that day's events to make sure you don't miss out!

Conclave 2021 Virtual Experience Schedule

Thursday, July 29

11 a.m. – Noon ET: Winning at Recruitment: Tips, Tools and Techniques (educational program)
Recruitment is hard. And sometimes it's exhausting. But have you also considered these skills will help you succeed in life long after college? Learn actionable sales and marketing tips, tools, and techniques you can apply today, and beyond your undergrad experience. Plus, walk away with clarity on what "brand" means for your chapter. Win today. Win tomorrow.

12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. ET: Simplify Selling SigEp: Recruitment tips from professionals (educational program)
The best companies, organizations and teams recruit top talent year-round. Fraternities fail to capitalize on this model by recruiting only one or two times a year through “rush.” Now more than ever, our chapters need to challenge the “way things have always been done,” which starts with implementing year-round, values-based recruitment.

3 p.m. – 6 p.m. ET: Legislation
Conclave provides the opportunity for undergraduates from around the country to create and modify national bylaws and policies. Since the first Conclave over 112 years ago, each chapter has had a vote in the activities of the Grand Chapter. Just like a local chapter votes on its local bylaws, the Grand Chapter must decide how to govern the Fraternity as a whole. A delegate from each chapter, district governors and National Board members make up the Grand Chapter, which determines the future of the Fraternity through a legislative process.

8 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. ET: Balanced Man Celebration (major event)
Is your chapter winning a Buchanan Cup? Come find out at Conclave's opening ceremony. This high-energy event promises a lot of excitement and maybe even a few surprises! More importantly, we will recognize SigEp's highest performing chapters.

Friday, July 30

11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. ET: Leading from the Front: Changing the game with the BMP (educational program)
Do you have what you need to be the best version of yourself? Is your chapter’s BMP ready to position your brothers for success in life during college and beyond? Will you be the brother that leads member development to new heights? How we prepare our members for the challenges that life throws at them determines not only the success of our chapters, but also how far our brothers will go in accomplishing their goals. This session will challenge your preconceived notions of the BMP and prepare you to lead your chapter's development.

1 p.m. – 2 p.m ET.: Brotherhood Luncheon: Necrology (major event)
Honor the brothers who have passed away since the 2019 Conclave in a moving and heartfelt tribute.

2:45 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. ET: Brotherhood Luncheon: Award Presentations (major event)
Celebrate the true spirit of what it means to be a brother of Sigma Phi Epsilon. We will reflect upon that which is good in SigEp and present the Fellow and Clayton-Doud awards, as well as the Honor of Philias, which recognizes chapters or individuals who have demonstrated exceptional expressions of brotherly love.

4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Saturday, July 31

10 a.m. – 1 p.m. ET: Legislation and elections

1:30 p.m. – 1:50 p.m. ET: Arete Awards Luncheon: Citation Presentation (major event)
To practice the Greek ideal of "arete" is to strive to achieve your highest human potential. The Sigma Phi Epsilon Citation is presented to a highly select group of alumni who have done just that. The Arete Awards Luncheon honors Citation recipients.

2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. ET: Arete Awards Luncheon: Citation Panel Discussion (major event)
Hear about the achievements and leadership of our four Citation recipients in a panel discussion.

4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. ET: Chapter success in 600 seconds (educational programming)
Hear directly from your fellow undergraduates and volunteers who have innovated, excelled and overcome obstacles to enter this academic year stronger than ever. Each story will have 600 seconds to set the scene, highlight the impact, discuss specific strategies for implementation and answer questions. You’ll walk away from this hard-hitting, fast-paced session feeling inspired and motivated to improve your chapter!

7:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. ET: Alumni Awards Dinner: part 1 (major event)
Enjoy the culminating event of the 57th Grand Chapter Conclave. In part 1 of the Alumni Awards Dinner, we will recognize our most Loyal Legionnaires and install the National Board of Directors, SigEp National Housing board and Foundation Trustees.

9 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. ET: Alumni Awards Dinner: part 2 (major event)
In part 2 of the Alumni Awards Dinner, we will bestow SigEp's highest honors upon deserving alumni, the Order of the Golden Heart. The newly elected Grand President will also make his inaugural remarks.
