Welcome to Nasvhille, the home of our 54th Grand Chapter Conclave.
For more than 100 years, our Fraternity has gathered biennially to celebrate our past and chart a course for our future. Conclaves have helped shape our Fraternity and are often looked back on with reverence as defining moments in our proud history.
I have been fortunate to witness several of these great moments, as this is my 17th Conclave. At each, I’ve had the chance to meet some of the greatest men this Fraternity has produced, men who have made SigEp the leader among our fraternal peers and a valued partner in higher education.
Over the next few days you’ll have the chance to meet some of those same men: selfless volunteers who have dedicated a lifetime to SigEp, generous donors who have transformed the SigEp experience through their contributions, and visionary undergraduate leaders who have shattered fraternity stereotypes and elevated the SigEp experience without fear of failure or apprehension of being first.
I believe in Sigma Phi Epsilon because of the important work accomplished by our brothers every two years, and every day in-between. Still, a strong and unforgiving spotlight has been cast upon fraternities since our last Conclave.
Let’s show the world what it means to be a SigEp.
Let’s show them what it means to be different and what it looks like for a fraternity to be a leader in higher education.
Let’s give them a reason to believe.
Fraternally,
Phillip A. Cox
Grand President
