Two brothers from SigEp’s Gold Buchanan Cup-winning Toledo Chapter helped the school’s football team secure a 2017 Mid-American Conference Championship. Running back Brad Smith, ’18, was also named to the all-conference academic team and served as vice president of finance for his chapter during the championship season. After graduation, he plans to run his roofing business while attending medical school.

Offensive lineman Brant Weiss, ’17, was selected by the Mid-American Conference for the 2017 all-conference first-team as well as the academic all-conference team for his exemplary grades and significant playing time. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Toledo.
