The 2014-2015 school year is coming to an end. On July 1 we’ll officially close the books on another great fiscal year. Thanks to the generosity of our alumni, volunteers and friends, the 2014-2015 year has been a life-changing and transformative one for countless undergraduate brothers. Here’s a look at some of the stories made possible because of the generosity and support of our donors.
10. Inspired to give by undergraduate Max Fowler
When a Greek life professional with no ties to SigEp read the experience of an undergraduate president who turned his chapter around, he felt he had to do more than “Like” the story.

Coming into college, I probably had the same concept of manliness that a lot of my peers have. At EDGE, a lot of that philosophy got dumped on its head.
8. Team Hartman’s legacy begins
In the fall of 2014, brothers and friends of SigEp honored Past Grand President John W. Hartman, Missouri ’61, for his contributions to the Ruck Leadership Institute. In a month alone, the Fraternity raised more than $500,000 to offically endow the Red Group at Ruck, which is now named “Team Hartman”. In June 2015, SigEp welcomed the first Team Hartman to Richmond, Va. for Ruck, and the impact was clearly visibile.
7. 2,800 strong: the largest Carlson in SigEp’s history
The Carlson Leadership Academies drew more registrants than ever this year with more than 2,800 undergradautes, alumni and volunteers.

Christian Geary, Stevens Tech ’15, wasn’t sure about joining Greek Life, but when he found SigEp, everything changed. Through his experience, Geary discovered the true meaning of fraternity.
