Brothers at Southeast Missouri State helped grant a little girl’s wish this past weekend. 9-year-old Amelia, who is battling brain cancer, made a special Make-A-Wish request — that people across the state of Missouri clean the parks in their communities.
When the SigEp brothers got word of her request, they responded immediately. More than two dozen chapter members spent hours cleaning up a local park to support Amelia.
According to KFVS 12, Chapter President Aaron Clite, Southeast Missouri State ’16, said, “It’s something that we really wanted to rally behind. It was a no-brainer for us to be out here, making someone else’s day better, but also trying to help out the community.”
