The Kentucky Epsilon AVC has committed $5,000 to the Phillip A. Cox Volunteer Institute. The chapter has benefitted from engaged SigEp volunteers on their campus.
The men of SigEp Ohio Theta Chapter at University of Cincinnati raised a record breaking $15,000 for SmileTrain, an organization that provides free cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries to children in developing countries.
The Wichita, Kansas, chapter of the American Red Cross has posthumously honored Captain Christopher L. Norgren, Missouri S&T ’07, with the Lifetime Hero Award. Norgren, a U.S. Marine, was killed in a helicopter crash during earthquake relief efforts in Nepal in May 2015.
