To ensure that more voices are heard at the national level, the Student Directors on the National Board are piloting a National Undergraduate Advisory Council. This council will work to empower and enhance the voice of undergraduate members in support of SigEp’s mission to recruit the best men, provide them with the best experiences and surround them with the best environments.
The National Undergraduate Advisory Council will be composed of 13 brothers, each responsible for representing a distinct region of the country. These brothers will serve in an advisory role to the Student Directors to provide feedback on and advance the Fraternity’s strategic priorities.
“Using feedback from our brothers and aligning our actions with SigEp’s vision for the future allows for a deeper understanding of the fraternity and how we achieve success. These same principles can be applied at the local level to elevate a chapter or even in a professional setting to accelerate your career,” said Student Director Greg Pierson, Missouri ’23
To be eligible, a brother must be in good standing with their home chapter and be willing to commit a few hours each month to meet with the Student Directors and engage with fellow undergraduate leaders from their region. The National Undergraduate Advisory Council will begin its work in January 2023, and applications are due Nov. 12.
