Dr. Shane McKee, Washington State Renaissance, and Dale Vaughn, Southern Methodist ’06, joined Lisa Hickey, Publisher and CEO of The Good Men Project, at the International Conference on Masculinities in New York today to discuss the role that fraternities can play in combating campus sexual assaults.
The three hosted a panel titled “Fraternities: Problems or Solutions to the College Sexual Assault Crisis?” They discussed the positive impact that fraternities can play in a national movement to raise awareness and educate men about how to prevent sexual assaults from occurring.
McKee and Vaughn shared how SigEp’s Balanced Man Program, Residential Learning Communities and national leadership events are helping educate more than 15,000 college men about responsible relationships, confident intervention and safe environments.
On Thursday, McKee and Vaughn visited with Huffington Post’s Nancy Redd and Tyler Kingkade to discuss masculinities and the role that fraternities play in fostering healthier relationships.
