Lunch & Life After College Kick-off: Get ready to kick-off a weekend of investing in your future on a high-note! In addition to having lunch with fellow SigEps from across the country, you'll learn how to leverage relationships and relationship-building to cultivate strong opportunities to launch your career.

1:00 - 1:50 p.m. Break-out Sessions

Navigating a Job Market: Finding a good match and job opportunity after graduation can be overwhelming. This session will help prepare you to confidently enter the job market by discussing ways to approach the process and how to put your best foot forward. We'll discuss how to effectively research, build connections to find opportunities, and tips to make your initial outreach a success.

You’ve Considered Attending Graduate or Professional School, Now What? You want to continue your education post undergraduate... now what? This session will focus on providing actionable tips to effectively identify your graduate or professional school learning goals and secure your spot in the ideal program.

Personal Finance & Investing: Work smarter, not harder... with your money! In this session, you'll learn how to take control of your finances, implement wealth-building strategies, and make financial decisions that set you up for success now and in the future.

Results-Driven Leadership: Companies don't need robots. They need people who can come in and be dynamic, results-driven employees who can excel in problem-solving, critical thinking and collaboration. Leverage this time to hone your skills and set yourself apart from your peers.

Recruiting & Utilizing A Professional Mentor: Mentors can be a driving force in your career success and learning. This session will focus on understanding the importance of professional mentors in career development. Additionally, you'll learn strategies for recruiting a strong partner and guide for your path after graduation!

Articulating the SigEp Experience: SigEp is a big part of your college experience, but articulating everything you learned in SigEp can be challenging. In this session, we will help you successfully describe your SigEp leadership experience during post-graduation opportunities to make your fraternity experience relevant.

4:30 - 5 p.m. Break-out Sessions

Storytelling: Crushing an Interview through Sharing your Success Stories: Ace any interview utilizing the power of effective storytelling. This session will prepare you to select and structure stories to persuasively highlight your experiences to give yourself a competitive advantage during any interview.

DRESS FOR SUCCESS: Looking Good for Every Occasion with Ric Sweeney: “Looking Good” is more than just putting on a nice suit. Looking good conveys your personal brand and reflects the image of who you are and who you want to be. This session will help you discover simple ways to look good for a variety of occasions to project your own personal brand.

Breakfast & Industry Connections: Building on the Life After College kick-off the day prior, this breakfast will provide you with the opportunity to get to know other SigEp undergraduates, alumni and volunteers in similar desired career paths.

Crafting Resumes That Stand Out: Did you know that recruiters can only look at resumes for an average of six to seven seconds? This professional tool can be a powerful representation of you and your experiences that get you in the door. Learn best practices and tips to make your resume stand out!

Tending to your Mental Wellness Post-Graduation: Times of transition can be difficult. In this session, you'll learn strategies to keep your mental wellness a priority after graduation, resources available to help and create a plan to ensure you're ready for this period of change.

Facilitator: Dr. Brian Kassar, Suicide Prevention Coordinator, Counseling & Psychological Services, Montana State University


10:30 - 10:55 a.m. Break-out Sessions

HIRE ME: How to Secure a Career-Building Internship: Everyone has the goal of getting the right job to build your career. It all starts with securing an internship or coop to build your experience and resume. This session will discuss the best methods for gaining professional experiences that build your resume and career.

OR

Negotiating a Salary: Talking compensation can be tricky, especially for new professionals. In this session, you'll learn when and how it's best appropriate to negotiate salary and some dos and don'ts for successfully navigating this process.

Life After College Wrap-up & Raffle Winners Announced: Life After College and your career preparation doesn't (and shouldn't) end this weekend. In this wrap-up, you'll learn how to continue your professional development after the program to set yourself up for success. We'll also announce the raffle winners from the weekend.
