Founders Day of Giving

Thank you to the 3,777 brothers and friends who gave back for a record-breaking Founders Day of Giving! View the full Chapter Challenge top 25s below.

Funding Every Program in 2024-25

In 2024-25, generous Annual Fund donors will underwrite the SigEp experience to the tune of $2.2 million. The Annual Fund helps cover the actual cost of the Fraternity's local and national programs to reduce cost burdens on undergraduate brothers. During Founders Day 2024, we're going to raise over half of the funds needed to make the SigEp experience possible this year.

  • Carlson Leadership Academy
  • Balanced Man Program
  • Ruck Leadership Institute
  • Tragos Quest to Greece
  • Volunteer Education
Carlson Leadership Academy

At Carlson Leadership Academies, new officers learn from expert alumni facilitators how to set goals, build action plans, and execute those plans. Through Carlson, every SigEp officer grows as a leader, problem-solver and culture builder. Each new officer leaves with increased confidence in his abilities and a cohort of peers who can support him throughout his term. Give now to help us raise $520,000 for Carlson 2025!

Balanced Man Program

What makes SigEp different? Our continuous member development experience. Now being tested at a large group of chapters, the Balanced Man Program is getting a long-overdue update to meet the needs of every SigEp brother today and in the future. We need your help investing in every chapter’s ability to offer group and self-guided programming so that every SigEp can develop the knowledge, skills and habits he needs to be a balanced man. Give now to help us raise $500,000 for the 2024-25 Balanced Man Program implementation, volunteer support and on-the-ground training and mentorship!

Ruck Leadership Institute

Each year, more than 150 of SigEp’s most promising and passionate leaders become Ruck Scholars. They gather in Richmond, at the university where SigEp was founded, for a four-day executive leadership program that “teaches the few to impact the many.” Led by executive-level alumni mentors, every Ruck scholar learns about his personal leadership style, how to inspire others and how to engage in a process of change and continuous improvement. The impact of Ruck extends to every SigEp as scholars return to their chapters with new leadership abilities, greater confidence to use those abilities, clearer goals and a vision for their future. Give now to help us raise $200,000 in support of our 2025 Ruck scholars!

Tragos Quest to Greece

Guided by faculty and alumni mentors, Tragos Scholars study the influence of Greek philosophy, governance and the arts in everyday life. The greatest impact lies in the bonds forged between scholars and mentors, demonstrating the power of relationships and belonging on self-actualization and mental wellness. Every Tragos Scholar returns to his chapter ready to share the lessons he’s learned about himself and our Fraternity in order to maximize the impact of Tragos Quest for every SigEp. Give now to help us fully fund the 2025 Tragos Quest to Greece!

Volunteer Education

SigEp runs on volunteer power! This year's Annual Fund investment in online and in-person volunteer education will make sure every SigEp volunteer has the education and training needed to guide a successful chapter. Give now to help us raise $150,000 for volunteer education and support!

SigEp helps young men relentlessly pursue their potential. Our college campuses and our communities need balanced men ready to lead with Virtue, Diligence and Brotherly Love. With every SigEp working together, we will achieve our potential.

Chapter Challenge

Founders Day of Giving is a celebration of every SigEp since 1901! As we work together to support every undergraduate brother and his 2024-25 SigEp experience, some friendly (but fierce!) competition makes it all the more fun.

Bragging rights are on the line as chapters go head-to-head in pursuit of raising the most gifts for the SigEp Educational Foundation Annual Fund. To sweeten the deal, the chapter with the most donors has their name engraved on the Founders Day Trophy and their school's flag flown over SigEp Headquarters in Richmond. The chapter with the most dollars raised receives the Founders Day of Giving wrestling-style championship belt.

See where the challenge stands in 2024!
