The Water Street Marriotts provide the perfect backdrop for SigEp’s 59th Grand Chapter Conclave! Composed of the JW Marriott Tampa and Tampa Marriott, our host hotels combine modern luxury with the sophisticated energy of Tampa’s vibrant downtown district. Located right on Tampa Bay and within walking distance of attractions like the Tampa Riverwalk and Sparkman Wharf, you’ll be able to take a dip in their resort-style pools, catch awe-inspiring sunsets from outdoor terraces, or work out in their state-of-the-art fitness center.
The JW Marriott and Tampa Marriott are connected via skybridge making it very easy and convenient to traverse from hotel to hotel. The majority of Conclave-related meetings and events will be hosted inside the JW Marriott; however, you can secure your lodging at either property. The Fraternity has negotiated a special discounted rate with both hotels:
- JW Marriott Tampa: $195/night, plus applicable taxes
- Tampa Marriott: $175/night, plus applicable taxes
To receive these rates, reservations must be made by June 23rd through SigEp’s dedicated reservation website below. After this date, rooms are subject to an increased rate based on availability. Please note: there are a limited number of rooms available at each hotel. If you have a strong preference for one hotel over the other, be sure you reserve your room early!
Also important to note: if the Fraternity will be covering your lodging as part of your registration (ex: undergraduate delegate/alternate, designated volunteer, designated property volunteer, or fraternity official), you will, more than likely, be assigned to the Tampa Marriott. Similarly, if you receive a lodging stipend as part of your registration, you will receive the equivalent of room/tax for the Tampa Marriott regardless of which hotel you choose to book. This will allow the Fraternity to be the best possible steward of our undergraduates’ and donors’ dollars.
Booking your room by the June 23rd deadline, and through our personalized page, will also ensure you receive 20% off valet parking, 10% off spa treatments, a 10% discount at certain food and beverage outlets in the hotels, as well as complimentary access to the pools and fitness centers at both hotels.

TRAVEL
We’ve partnered with Delta Airlines to offer special discounts for those attending Grand Chapter Conclave. Click here to search for (and book!) discounted flights. You may also call Delta Meeting Network® at 1.800.328.1111* Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. ET and refer to Meeting Event Code NY3MA. (There is not a service fee for reservations booked and ticketed via the reservation 800 number.) Please know you are certainly not required to book a flight through Delta; this is just an option available to you!
The Water Street Marriotts (composed of the JW Marriott Tampa and Tampa Marriott) are located approximately nine miles from Tampa International Airport. There are multiple ground transportation options available to get you from the airport to the hotel:

Rideshare
Lyft, Uber and Wridz are available for guests departing the airport. They can be picked up at Red Baggage Claim, the Blue Express Curbside, or the SkyCenter One office building remote curbside. A service fee of $5 will be added to the cost of the fare. -
Taxis
Taxi service by Yellow Cab is available at the curbside outside the Baggage Claim Level at the Ground Transportation Areas, Red 1 and Blue 2. The fare to downtown Tampa is a flat rate fee of $35. -
Rental cars
On-airport rental car companies are located in the Rental Car Center which can be reached by taking the SkyConnect train from the Main Terminal. Many companies are represented including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Thrifty and more. -
Limousines and black car service
Multiple companies are available to provide this service. However, the Water Street Marriotts recommend Signature Limousine. You can reach out to them directly for more information on availability and rates.
The Water Street Marriotts are both located in the heart of Tampa on the 500 block of Water Street. If you are driving to Conclave and want to park at our host hotels, only valet parking is available. If you have a sleeping room reserved in the SigEp block, you will receive 20% off the prevailing parking rates (which is $50 plus tax for overnight parking as of early 2025). However, there are plenty of open lots within walking distance of the hotels that you can use, if you so choose. Be sure to review the hours and prices carefully, if using this option.
