Today, we’re proud to announce the hiring of Brian Tenclinger, Louisiana State Renaissance, as SigEp’s Volunteer Engagement and Education Director. With more than 25 years of experience driving volunteer objectives for non-profit organizations, Brian brings much-needed expertise to the SigEp staff. He will officially join the staff Jan. 18.

In his most recent role at Kiwanis International, Brian worked directly with volunteer area coordinators to establish and grow Kiwanis clubs across the globe. In January 2020, Brian was invited to Valparaiso’s TedX event to share his perspective on the value of volunteering and trends for the next 50 years. He’s advised multiple campuses as an independent consultant and has a vast SigEp volunteer resume, including serving as a long-time district governor, a Tragos Quest to Greece mentor multiple times and a repeat facilitator at the Phillip A. Cox Volunteer Institute.

Brian’s initial focus will be on developing, implementing, and continuously enhancing a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy, inclusive of education for new and experienced volunteers. He’ll work closely with SigEp’s district governors to help Alumni and Volunteer Corporations fill key volunteer vacancies with talented alumni capable of shaping a life-changing experience for our undergraduate brothers. This is key to ensuring all chapters and every brother has access to mentoring opportunities with role models throughout the SigEp network.
