SigEp is excited to announce new appointments and additions to staff as we work to prepare for our summer leadership events and the 2016-17 school year.
Kyle Sutton, Cincinnati ’12, will help SigEp grow its capabilities to best serve undergraduates as the new Fraternity managing director. The managing director position oversees the fraternity operations team, including chapter services, regional directors, programs and events, volunteer services, member safety and new chapter development.
Our outgoing managing director, Seth Irby, Louisiana State ’11, has served the Fraternity on staff since the 2011-12 school year. Under his leadership, SigEp’s services and support have grown and expanded, improving the membership experience for all our brothers. We have introduced new resources and programs focused around the Balanced Man Program, member safety, officer training and volunteers. Seth’s contributions to SigEp will have an enduring impact on our Fraternity for years to come.
Managing Director Sutton was previously the marketing and communication director, strategic projects and analytics director, and information management director. He served as a regional director during the 2012-13 school year and then joined the Richmond staff, serving as Balanced Man Program director from 2013 to 2014.
James Poole, Virginia Commonwealth ’14, formerly art director and production manager, is replacing Sutton as marketing and communication director.
Matt Huggins, Washington ’14, a 2015-16 regional director, will come to Richmond and transition into a chapter services director role, helping oversee the next regional director teams. He will be replacing Logan Fletcher, North Dakota ’12, who has served as a regional director and then chapter services director since the 2013-14 school year.
Austin Chapman, Lawrence ’14, new chapter development director this year and 2014-15 regional director, is joining our programs and events team as Balanced Man Program director supporting Riley Little, Christopher Newport ’13. Austin has spent this year laying the foundation for our new Sigma Epsilon Chapters (SECs) at Virginia Tech and Florida. As the Balanced Man Program becomes even more central to chapters’ daily operation, he will be strengthening their ability to implement the BMP.
As we work to engage with our alumni base and better educate our donors on the critical work SigEp does, we are adding 2015-16 regional director Kevin Knudson, Nebraska ’15, to our advancement team. Likewise, as our SigEp National Housing (SENH) portfolio grows, we are adding former SEC director Alex Hendee, Fort Hays State ’13, as an SENH asset manager.
SigEp’s Headquarters staff is made up of brothers and other talented professionals from across the country. They work in Richmond, Virginia, to carry out the Fraternity’s mission of “Building Balanced Men.” View the complete staff directory here.
