Chapters respond to #LiveYourOath

Categories: Chapter News, Features

By Aaron Jay Ledesma, Marquette '14

On April 16, SigEp took another historic step forward as a leader on college campuses, this time alongside a new national partner: Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Together, our organizations launched #LiveYourOath—a sexual assault prevention education initiative for our members. Every SigEp is being called on to lead their campus on this important issue, and they have begun doing so. Our brothers answered the call and began to take action on social media.

Together, SigEp and @AlphaDeltaPi can and will be a part of the solution to end sexual assault. #LiveYourOath https://t.co/QWojDeyxyZ

And brothers across the nation proudly embraced and promoted the initiative on social media.

Over 50% of all sexual assault incidents were said to have occurred within 1 mile of the victim’s home. #LiveYourOath pic.twitter.com/052xFGZAj4

As Fraternity men and Sorority women, we took our Oath as an individual. But as a group, we can and will be part of the solution.

Together, SigEp & @AlphaDeltaPi can and will make a difference. #LiveYourOath #ItsOnUs http://t.co/pNTthRn160 pic.twitter.com/gAaoyRTyuD
