BECOME A FOUNDING FATHER

Do you want to raise your bar? Would you like to build the best and largest fraternity on your campus?

Every year, SigEp initiates or revitalizes chapters at prestigious institutions across the United States. Founding Fathers of these new chapters will leave their own SigEp legacy at these colleges and universities for years to come. If you’d like to raise the SigEp flag on your campus by becoming a Founding Father, keep reading!

the SigEp Experience

Your SigEp experience, if you take full advantage of it, can define and elevate your college years and set you up for lifelong success. With unparalleled opportunities to raise your bar, the Balanced Man Program and SigEp’s leadership and career preparedness events can build you into the balanced man you have the potential to be. And if SigEp is important in your life, share it with the men around you who need our Fraternity. All along the way, your brothers will be at your side, giving you friendships you’ll carry for the rest of your life.

Why Become a Founding Father

Joining SigEp means becoming part of a legacy that has inspired thousands of men since 1901. You’ll have the opportunity to take on a leadership role in shaping a new SigEp chapter, building it into the largest and best fraternity on campus from the ground up.

With over 360,000 initiates since 1901, SigEp is committed to the success of its founding fathers. In the new chapter’s first academic year, a dedicated SigEp staff member will assist on campus with recruitment, education, and training. Additionally, each chapter benefits from a dedicated local volunteer advisory team, trained and ready to serve as mentors and guides.

SigEp is growing! Each year, SigEp and the national board of directors use our campus evaluation metrics to determine which campuses SigEp has the greatest potential for success. Factors such as university enrollment, fraternity recruitment policies, and alumni & volunteer support are considered when evaluating each campus.

The campuses below represent SigEp’s current expansion projects. Future expansion projects are approved annually by SigEp’s national board of directors. For more information, contact Director of Expansion Braden Botkin.
