What expenses are covered in the registration fee if I’m selected as a scholar?
There is a $550 registration fee for each scholar to attend. This fee covers your travel to Richmond by flight, train or mileage reimbursement. It also covers your lodging, food, supplies and expenses for the program. You are responsible for the cost to get to the airport or train station, and back, that’s it!
We do not want the financial piece to deter you from applying or attending Ruck. There is often funding available to those who need it from your chapter’s AVC or national scholarships. If you are selected as a scholar, the SigEp staff will work with your AVC to see if there is any chapter funding available or share an application to request national scholarship support to cover the cost of your registration fee, or part of it.
When will I learn if I’ve been selected as a Ruck scholar?
All applications are due by February 23, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted. All submitted and completed applications will be reviewed, and the first round of invites to selected scholars will be sent in early March.
