Stay tuned: In March, we will be holding webinars open to all SigEp volunteers on each of these session topics.
Volunteer Programming Sessions
Time with the National Board of Directors
Join SigEp's National Board of Directors as they review the state of higher education and trends in fraternity and sorority life. The National Board will showcase some of the fraternity's initiatives: chapter sites, the Balanced Man Program App and SigEp Learning Communities.
Funding Our Leadership Programs
With the growing cost of higher education, funding our impactful leadership programs like the Ruck Leadership Institute and Carlson Leadership Academy has never been more important. This session covers the true cost of our programs and how alumni can support future brothers to continue to gain from these experiences.
Supporting the Chapter Experience
Chapter Sites are SigEp's newest tool to increase your alumni's engagement, outreach and fundraising. At Carlson, undergraduate vice presidents of communication are learning how to use their new website. This session covers how alumni can also take advantage of this new platform to fully support the chapter experience.
"SigEp Tomorrow" Sessions
Making Data-Driven Decisions with Dyad
More than half of our undergraduates completed the annual brotherhood questionnaire in Fall 2018. This session dives into the national results and helps chapters understand how the date can be applied to improve recruitment, member development and overall chapter culture.
The Future of the Residential Learning Community
Many of the life lessons and skills that an undergraduate should develop during his college years must be learned during the vast amount of unstructured time outside of the classroom. SigEp's Learning Community must continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of higher education. This session reviews the recommendations of the Residential Learning Community task force and future improvements.
Successes with Substance-Free Facilities
Over the last two years, many chapters have implemented a completely substance-free policy into their bylaws. This session highlights the success stories of the best chapters who have adopted these new practices. From converting spaces to improving the member development experience, you will take away new ideas to help your chapter successfully implement this policy.
