Responsible For: Laura is the logistics queen and project manager for the programs and events team. She specializes in the registration and application process for all programs and events while also juggling hundreds of award nominations and travel logistics for all national leadership programs and events.
Bio: Born and raised outside of Boston, Laura was a transplant to Virginia through her undergraduate degree in historic preservation at the University of Mary Washington. Laura’s career started in the management of the Edgar Allen Poe Museum’s artifact collection in Richmond and managing an 18th century courthouse tavern. Her love of people and the nonprofit world brought her to SigEp in the spring of 2015. Meeting bright brothers from across the U.S. and watching them celebrated at award ceremonies is her favorite part of the job. Laura loves seeing live music, finding unique art museums, playing board games and making people laugh.
