Responsible For: In her role, Laura oversees the registration process for SigEp's national programs and events, the Career Coaching initiative and works across teams to utilize data and technology to enhance the SigEp experience. Additionally, she works collaboratively with SigEp's Educational Foundation to project manage major fundraising initiatives.

Bio:

Born and raised in Boston, Laura headed south to attend the University of Mary Washington in Virginia, where she studied historic preservation and elementary education. After graduation, she built a career in museum and historic site management before discovering her passion for event and program management. A certified project manager, Laura brings creativity, structure, and a collaborative spirit to every team she joins. She previously served on SigEp’s executive and programs & events teams and is thrilled to return after an exciting three-year adventure in the startup world.

Laura’s superpowers are staying cool under pressure and finding humor and optimism in nearly any situation. Laura relies on these strengths not just at work, but also at home with her husband and their curious, energetic daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, listening to live music, and exploring museums and parks near and far.
