Responsible For: As advancement communications manager, Jamie is responsible for executing and refining strategy for advancement communications, designed to cultivate and steward donors for the SigEp Educational Foundation. She will be the point person for direct mail solicitations for the Foundation’s annual fund, working with and through multiple teams to finalize and document these communications. Jamie will also be the primary content developer and collaborative team member for the Educational Foundation’s annual Founders Day of Giving, which raises over 60% of annual donations each year on Nov. 1-2.

Bio:

A native of the Pacific Northwest, Jaime earned her B.A. in history, social studies and elementary education from Washington State University (go Cougs!) before teaching in South Korea. That experience abroad sparked a new direction, leading her to earn an M.A. in architectural history from the University of Virginia. No matter the role, Jaime has always been driven by the same goal: combining her passion for making history more accessible with her ability to develop engaging ways for audiences to interact with a mission. When she’s not at work, you can find Jaime and her pup exploring local trails, navigating the James River on her boat or on a mission to find the best queso in Richmond.
