Ulysses Grant Dubach Scroll

The Ulysses Grant Dubach Scroll is awarded to the brother in each chapter who shows the greatest academic improvement between consecutive academic terms. The award is in memory of Order of the Golden Heart recipient Dr. U.G. Dubach, Oregon State 1913, who served as national scholarship chairman in the 1950s and 1960s.

Nominations are made by the undergraduate chapter through the Headquarters staff after each school term. Nominations are due by October 1.

The recipient receives a certificate from Headquarters. It is recommended the chapter invite a school official to present the award in front of the chapter.  The Balanced Man Scholarship banquet is often a great occasion to present the award to show the chapter’s commitment to academic success in front of potential new members and their parents.
