The National Federation of State Poetry Societies (NFSPS) recently named Michael Welch, Marquette ’16, the recipient of the 2016 Florence Kahn Memorial Award. The award is one of two given as a result of the NFSPS’ College Undergraduate Poetry Competition.

Alumnus Chris Licht, Syracuse ’93, was named executive producer of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Licht moves to this new role after serving as the vice president of programming for CBS News and executive producer of CBS This Morning.
