Jared Lyon, Florida State ’11 has been named president and CEO of Student Veteran of America, a national organization that helps to provide educational opportunities to military veterans.

Former Specialist Brian Swedberg, Northern Iowa ’11, received the Army Commendation Medal in Waterloo. Swedberg was recognized for fighting under heavy combat and forcing the enemy into retreat.
