Responsible For: As executive assistant to the CEO, Amy plays a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of SigEp's organizational leadership. Her role combines superior executive support with strategic coordination across all entities of the organization. While responsible for some administrative duties at SigEp Headquarters, Amy is also a primary point of contact between the executive team and many stakeholders.

Bio:

Amy brings more than 25 years of experience across accounting, business, and education to her role at SigEp. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and a master’s degree in education from the University of Mary Washington.

She began her career in accounting and finance at Northrop Grumman and later transitioned into teaching mathematics in public and private schools. Most recently, she served as senior executive assistant in the dean’s office at the University of Virginia and previously supported leadership at the Virginia State Corporation Commission.

Amy lives in Hanover County with her husband, Van, and their three dogs, Ava Bea, Banjo and Ollie. She enjoys gardening, reading, card making and spending time with her grandchildren.
