The Frank J. Ruck Leadership Institute equips students to lead culture change that extends beyond their chapter and campus and into their community. Executive-level alumni mentors guide attendees on how to engage in difficult and meaningful conversations — a skill they often can’t develop on their campuses. Scholars are selected through a competitive application process, and they leave with an awareness of their own leadership styles and a new and better vision for the future.
The Ruck Leadership Institute was launched in 1999, with a curriculum based on the world-renowned book, The Leadership Challenge, co-authored by Brother Barry Posner, California- Santa Barbara ’70.
The Ruck Leadership Institute has long been SigEp’s landmark leadership program and a coveted experience for undergraduates to explore and develop personal leadership skills. For more than 20 years, SigEps from around the country have come together to learn from each other and from some incredibly successful alumni.
