As a SigEp executive officer, we want to make sure you have what you need, when you need it. We know our chapters are strongest when their leaders are prepared and confident to reach their goals and handle what comes their way. Whether you’re at the start or end of your term, monthly virtual executive development programs cover relevant leadership topics and include networking opportunities year-round to keep what’s important in focus. Officers in each session will be able to collaborate with both alumni experts, as well as other undergrads from across the country in their officer role.
Upcoming Executive Development Sessions
Each month, SigEp executive officers will meet virtually with a cohort of brothers in their same role. These virtual meet-ups will include three key components:
- Presentation from an industry leader — and SigEp alumnus — related to the skills and knowledge you need to have continued success in your role. This expert will share their experience with you and inspire ideas. You’ll either watch this presentation recording with your cohort or on your own time before your meet-up.
- Training and debrief: Led by an experienced facilitator and subject-matter expert, you’ll spend the first portion of your meeting discussing the session topic and talking more about how to handle the challenges your position may face.
- Time to network with your peers: You will be able to share your experiences, gain ideas from other chapters, and troubleshoot or talk through what you’re working on with brothers who understand what you’re going through. Each session will last 75-90 minutes and will be held virtually over Zoom. But don’t worry, this won’t feel like your average “online class” as you’ll be learning alongside and from your brothers from chapters/schools like yours.
