Sigma Phi Epsilon is redefining fraternity life on college campuses across the country. As UVM's SigEp chapter enters its second year established, we are working hard to complement a man's education by giving every brother a premier student experience during what is likely the most influential times of their lives. Through SigEp, men strengthen their character, build leadership and interpersonal skills, and learn to build the lifelong relationships that are essential to living a successful and fulfilling life.
We believe that fraternity life can be transformational if it's run properly, and SigEp is leading that change. We challenge every modern-day frat stereotype, and aim to re-establish what it originally meant to be a fraternity—that as brothers, we commit to a shared set of core values, including Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love, and strive to live up to SigEp's "Sound Mind, Sound Body" mantra, while also avoiding influence from those who celebrate the worst aspects of the fraternity stereotype. SigEp cultivates this environment through their no-pledging, no-hazing new member experience that allows full participation in the organization as soon as a brother joins.
We are looking for men who are passionate about their academic success, committed to their health and well being, and are inspired to pursue their personal development alongside their college experience. If you'd like to learn more about SigEp, our mission, how we're different, and how we're innovating in the fraternity world, please fill out our form below to enter into the 2020 Balanced Man Scholarship. We would love to reach out to you to schedule a meeting.
First place will be awarded $1000 and second place $500. We look forward to hearing from you!
