SigEp will celebrate 116 years of brotherly love on November 1, the date of our founding in 1901. Founders Day is a time when SigEps everywhere can look back on our storied history, celebrate our present success and pave the way for an even brighter future.
This year’s Founders Day promises to bring brothers and friends together to make a measurable impact for our undergraduates during the second-ever Founders Day of Giving. The Headquarters staff will again be live on Facebook throughout the day and into the night.
Throughout the day, live streams on the Official SigEp Facebook Page will bring in brothers to share their own stories of SigEp’s impact, engage brothers and friends to celebrate on social media, and raise funds for the leadership programs that are preparing so many SigEp undergraduates for successful lives after college. You can expect to see some on-air fun, compelling stories and brotherly competition throughout the day! To stay connected, join our Facebook Event!
Last Founders Day, brothers shared stories of how SigEp has impacted their lives — their own SigEp journeys. Thousands across the country reflected on our Fraternity and showed their SigEp pride by wearing letters and posting on social media. The Headquarters staff live-streamed a visit to the Founders Walk at the University of Richmond, the institution where our Fraternity began.
2016 also began a new SigEp tradition — Founders Day of Giving. Hundreds of brothers raised more than $61,000 to support the SigEp experience of today. Brothers and friends gave back to provide our undergraduates with the transformative programs that prepare them for life after college.
