The College of William & Mary to host 2008 Ruck Leadership Institute

July 9th-13th

The Ruck Leadership Institute will take place in Williamsburg, Virginia.  Participants will fly into Richmond International Airport on Wednesday afternoon and tour Sigma Phi Epsilon Headquarters, Zollinger House.  Participants and the Institute faculty will stay on campus at the College of William & Mary in Jefferson Hall throughout the duration of the program.

The College of William & Mary was chartered on February 8, 1693, by King William III and Queen Mary II as the second college in the American colonies.  The College has educated notable American statesmen such as Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Tyler, and James Monroe.  Other notable students include Benjamin Franklin and Chief Justice Marshall.

The College of William & Mary holds the distinct honor of the founding site of the first American college fraternity, Phi Beta Kappa in 1776.
