What to Expect
Leadership Development… members will:
  • Build greater self-awareness
  • Have fun through challenging experiences (ropes courses, physical challenges)
  • Receive training to overcome obstacles (alcohol and drug abuse, personal wellness, and goal achievement)
  • Gain effective decision-making skills
  • Leave with practical methods for developing a Sound Mind in a Sound Body

Introduction to Sigma Phi Epsilon… members will discover:

  • The value of a positive Fraternity experience, and how this can be achieved
  • The history of Sigma Phi Epsilon
  • The resources available through the National Fraternity
  • The benefits of the Balanced Man Ideal: living a life encompassing Sound Mind and Sound Body

 

Mentoring… members will have the opportunity to:

  • Work and learn from SigEp volunteers and undergraduate leaders
  • Learn to educate fellow undergraduates on Sound Mind and Sound Body

Going snowshoeing

Proper attire for EDGE

What to wear:

  • Collared shirts (short and long)
  • Jeans, khakis, or khaki shorts
  • Closed toe shoes (athletic shoes will be needed)
  • Athletic clothing
    • Team building
    • Weather appropriate

What not to wear:

  • Obscene clothing

What to bring:

  • A sleeping bag or bed linens, and a pillow
  • All toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc.)
